The replacement Dell N30P9 power supply was tested and removed from a working server. The active fan in has been tested along with the power supply.
To replace the Dell Poweredge R620/R720 750W power supply push the orange handle to the right and slide the power supply out. To install the Poweredge R620 power supply slide it in and you should here it and feel it snap into place.
In the Dell Poweredge R620/R720 all 495W, 750W and 1100W will work in any of the servers regardless of part number. If you have redundant power supplies the wattages need to match each other. The 1100W is the high output power supply and the 495W is the energy efficient option. Once you hit a certain configuration you need to use the higher output 750W and 1100W power supplies
