    • Poweredge R410 Backplanes

    The Dell Poweredge R410 Server has a few different hard drive backplane options. The options are Cabled or hot-swap: 4 x 3.5” cabled hard drives or 4 x 3.5” hot-swap hard drives or 4 x 2.5” hot-swap hard drives. The backplanes can use a variety of drives. Hot-plug Hard Drive Options: 2.5” SATA SSD, SAS (10K)3.5” SAS (15K), nearline SAS (7.2K), SATA (7.2K); Cabled Hard Drive Options: 3.5” SAS (15K, 10K), nearline SAS (7.2K), SATA (7.2K) .

    The replacement backplane needs to be the same as the one currently installed as the chassis dictates which one will physically fit. Always replace with a genuine Dell backplane which all the backplanes listed here are all Dell original parts. If you have any questions on Dell replacement parts call us at 952-831-1032.
